White Oaks in Winter

The snow fell again last night and the world is fluffy and white.

This white oak tree, one of several at the front of the house,  is the base of  many of my nature photos. The snow stands out on the dark limbs and  the touch of green moss on the trunk really completes the picture.

The squirrels and birds will  be soon coming for their morning breakfast and will knock the snow off  as they scoot along the branches.

Country living  has its up and down side but when the snow flies the landscape is fabulous.
