On the road again….. This weeks theme at Where’s my Backpack is: Roads.
I am writing about a road trip that took Richard and I across southern Ontario and into the USA. We crossed the border at Ogdensburg, New York and then continued to drive across the northern part of NY state, with the final destination being Vermont.
Normally this is a boring route, so I put my camera on high speed and took pictures all along the route. It was fun to see what I was able to capture. We put the photos on slideshow at night and Richard was now able to enjoy what he missed or had forgotten.
Vehicles had nice artwork, and interesting designs.
.
The landscape changed all along the route.
.
Getting bored? Take photos of the vehicles or scenery behind you!
.
Can’t they do this some other time?
.
Bridge to USA, leaving home territory is always exciting!
.
.
There are two seasons, winter and construction.
.
Interesting Old Barns….
.
Is that moss on the roof?
.
……. which lake is this?
.
.
Interesting .. but where’s the rest of the house?
. .
Finally the mountains…..

My Currier & Ives Scene – Final destination – Vermont
Was it a good choice to take photos? It sure was and I would do it again. I periodically look back at them and remember something about this part of the trip that would have been long forgotten. Magazine quality, of course not, but some of the pictures made it into a blog!
Give it a try sometime…. Thanks for coming by. Till tomorrow…..
I enjoyed this little road trip, so I am glad you took the photos 🙂
When I think of how much I have seen while driving and then immediately have forgot over the years….Thanks for coming by.
Lovely!
Thank you….
