Todays post is based on the colour green from WHERE’S MY BACKPACK?
The first cruise that I ever took was to the Caribbean with twelve ladies from my mothers senior bowling group. The women had decided that they were going to make it a mother/daughter trip as well. My sister and I both joined Mum for a fun filled 7 days to the islands. Green was my favourite colour for this trip. (no snow)!

THE TOUR BUS DRIVER STOPPED FOR A PHOTO.. (St Thomas)

SOME OF MUMS FRIENDS WERE ON THIS TOUR TRAIN… (St.Kitts)

BEAUTIFUL PALM TREES ALL IN A ROW..(St Kitts)

SOUNDS OF THE CARIBBEAN NEAR THE PORT… (St Kitts)

ALL KINDS OF FRUIT I DON’T RECOGNIZE AT A ROADSIDE MARKET..

AT NELSON’S DOCKYARD…(Antigua)
I LIKED THE PALM TREES – CAN’T YOU TELL? THE ONLY ONES I HAD EVER SEEN WAS IN FLORIDA. THEY HAD TURNED BROWN DUE TO COLD WEATHER. THESE WERE GREEN!
THE CRUISE TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT MOTHER/DAUGHTER TIME… UNFORTUNATELY, ABOUT THREE WEEKS AFTER ARRIVING HOME, ONE OF THE SENIORS PASSED AWAY. IT BROUGHT US ALL BACK TO REALITY……
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE AREA TO CRUISE?
What a splendid series of photo … wow.. I understand you like green and not snow – we still have snow here in Denmark – and waiting for a blizzard – I would like to be on that trip too .. Thanks for sharing
Hi Mariane – we still have snow here too. Actually, I do like snow because everything you photograph stands out but as you approach spring it feels like enough is enough! You probably get that feeling too…..Thanks for coming by and your comment….
