How can you not love a polar bear?

In the featured photo, on a very hot day,  this massive bear would continually swim to one end of the pool, catch the jet stream, and float on his back, back to the other end, paddling gently with his paw. It was fascinating…….

Last summer, I had a pass for the Toronto Zoo. It was one of the best things I could have done.  There is so much to see and do and the pass afforded me lots of time so that I could relax, take lots of photos or just sit back and watch the animals.

Personally, I don’t like to see the  animals out of their natural habitat, but the Toronto Zoo is one of the largest in the world with a great amount of green space.  Lots of walking, but …..there is a train that you can ride all day that is included in membership but is still cheap enough if you are purchasing a single day ticket.
