This beautiful wildflower was sitting alongside the road that I was travelling yesterday. I of course stopped and took a few photos. 

Then I decided that I needed to find out the name of the plant.  

There is a great website for  Ontario  folks that would like to do some research on wildflowers.  I found this flower quite quickly.    Wildflowers of Ontario Site
