Austria is a beautiful. We are visiting the country for two weeks so we hope to have time to get to know a few of the area
.
The featured photo was taken Inside the valley where we are staying. Normally I wouldn’t credit this as an inside photo but that is the feeling I get.
.
Where the rocks has been cut through for roadways, a board walk has also built for safety.
.
The main roads tend to follow the valley floor and rivers. Where they can’t, they go through tunnels built into the mountains. On the other side you are into another valley surrounded with more mountains. I feel like I am Inside the scenery. I am just so used to open ended landscapes I guess!
See other Inside posts for the Weekly Photo Challenge.
Your top picture reminded me of the Beaufortain in the French Alps. Very similar landscape. Have a safe journey.
Thanks Suzanne….
