Salzburg is a city of many things.  Salt made the original citizens rich. Meat needed salt for preservation in early days and salt became a hot commodity.

One of its citizens who went by the name of Mozart lived and wrote music here.  Consequently, in this very old and very beautiful city, today, we find Mozart’s picture plastered all over the place.

Souvenirs, tshirts, sweatshirts all remind us of this famous man.  I never thought that Mozart was famous for chocolate but his face is all over that too!
