!The one bird you can’t get away from if you live in Canada is the Canada Goose.  They are everywhere in the parks, in marshes, lakes, and beaches. The birds are nice but they sure can leave behind a mess.

There are 12 swans at the Barrie, Ontario waterfront right now so I am told.   I was trying to find them this unusually warm day. Unfortunately they appeared to be elsewhere.

Instead, I came across a bunch of  geese. As I (carefully) walked  along the beach, I came across hundreds if not thousands more of this sometimes unpopular bird. BUT   –  It is fun to photograph them anyways , on the ground and  in flight.
