Osteospermum is one of the plants that I really like. Unfortunately, as we are in Canada, it has to be bought each year as it is an annual. It is also hard to find. Not every nursery carries them.

It looks a little delicate but it is quite hardy and it gave us a ton of blooms all summer long.

The bugs seemed to like them too. It could be the purple that attracts them.
These are fun flowers especially for photography.
The colours while being vibrant, brighten up a garden with their two tones. The Osteospermum is part of the daisy family and it comes in several colours, some only one tone.

I saw them at a friends home, and Home Depot still had them in stock. I have not seen them since.
The pinched petals and delicate shading are very beautiful. How funny that you got them at HD. I like the bee fly and the unusual beetle, too.
