WHAT a glorious day to be outside! I slowly drove down one of my favourite roads today, trying to find things to photograph. I couldn’t believe my luck!
After the big snowstorm, a normally lonely road, had lots of activity.

PERFECT FOR HIKING!

and A WINTER RUN
Coming round a bend in the road, I could see this the farm at the top of trees. It was so neat the way it sat way up on a hill , so I pulled over to get some photos, then, drove further to find the rest of it.

WINDY ROADS

and… THIS IS IT!
While I was taking a few shots of the farm, I spotted a group of snowmobilers coming along a path through the trees, just above the fence line. By the time I got my camera reset, they had all passed. They were really moving quickly.
Off I went a little disappointed and just as I came to the intersection, there were the snowmobilers heading down the road towards me. I changed my lens and got out of the car just in time to catch a few photos.

HAPPY TRAILS
After watching the last person disappear into the woods, I moved a little further down the road and came across this wonderful little pond that had been turned into a hockey rink.

FROZEN POND
A huge dog came flying out of the driveway with his owner chasing him. After a little rub and chat, I continued on my photographic journey.

DEEP IN SNOW
Farm equipment looks great in the winter. The snow hides all the dings and rust. The farm didn’t look to shabby either!

PICTURE PERFECT!
Tomorrow, I will continue with part 4 of project ‘What Canadians do on a weekend after a huge snow storm.’
