This is one of my favourite photos for distance. Behind the biker, you can see the City of San Francisco to the right, the Golden Gate Bridge centre and Alcatraz to the left… three of the worlds most famous locations.

I watched these birds coming toward the shore from the distance, and had my camera ready to grab a shot. What I hadn’t realized until they came closer, that they were pelicans.What a nice surprise….
